I’m so glad you cried. That always helped me. (I can’t cry anymore - I don’t know why.) William is right. Some people are not capable of thinking of the needs of others. She may be one of them. It must be an awful disappointment to you. Cry some more. It’ll help.

Thank you, Judy

I am doing better today. My daughter should be here tomorrow, God willing. I have dealt with this before kind of with her, (friend) But it hit me quite hard yesterday. I do my best to be attentive to others, even with everything on my plate. Deep down I realize it`s her issue yet I need to work on those triggers that still affect me. (not being good enough) That way I do not absorb the negativity of others.

Thank you, Rea

I`m waking feeling better about it all. I do believe a good cry and a good night`s sleep helps one see clearer.

Those words- This too shall pass- I normally remind myself of yet never came to mind yesterday. TY again for the reminder. 💞✨

Some people are self centered to the point that it doesn't matter what you have going on, they can only think about what they think they are going through.

There's no fixing that for them so you just have to set boundaries and stick to them.

It seems like every high emotional time attracts a counter drain at just the wrong time.

Yes, you are right. I wonder why that is. To test our resolve? I thank you for the encouragement, William. I needed that cry, and I am feeling drained but lighter for having released my emotions.
