When I'm outside having a vape I am happy to stand down wind of smokers to sniff in the memory. Strangers who can always strike up a conversation. Workers taking a breather outside who share the office gossip irrespective of their work status. Immediate chatty pals with a shared addiction. Always an immediate camaraderie and no recrimination.

If someone was angry you could tell by how hot the " cherry" got from the deep inhaling and long exhail causing the lit tobacco to turn cherry red. 😆 🤣
For me it was after a meal, the extra course or accompanying a drink. Remember when we used to 'crash the fags'. Never a fan of that, used to get back inferior ones. Anyway now too god damn expensive, especially if you were 20 a day like me. In UK £14/15 a packet of 20 now. Be bankrupt in no time. Have we just been outside having a chat and a cigarette together. Just saying.

I get the cheep knock offs. If you can find a tolerable one. They run about 40 to 45 a carton. I'm about 1/2 pack a day, working on another sabbatical. I have Emphysema.

I remember you reading this several times. Deb, you have better control than I with "Desire" and I am so proud that you continue to fight the good fight! My turn now, fighting "Desire" for several weeks and I want to be done with that one!

Crash the fans....Nearly everybody smoked. We would offer our cigarettes round the group when it was our turn.
You'll know when it suits. Vaping did it for me within 2 weeks like 12 years ago.
