As many of you know I was admitted to the hospital for cardiac issues and was released Wednesday. I have an appointment with my Cardiologist this coming Monday. Together her and I will discuss my options and course of action.
I have been doing a lot of resting and sleeping as I tire very easily and become short for breath and my chest becomes tight. I have dysautonomia which affects the autonomic nervous system that regulates heart rate, blood pressure, etc.
This is part of my condition and progression of my disease. My blood pressure has swung from a low of 95/57 to a high of 137/98 in the last few days.
I have attempted a couple of articles that sat unfinished since being home from the hospital. Those articles were full of my frustrations and not uplifting for either you or myself. And they were more ramblings of thought than of substance. So, I have deleted them.
Today is “No Kings” protests day. I shared in a note a poem I wrote in February when he first announced he was king. It's title “Hear Ye, Hear Ye” and can be found on One Soul`s Journey.
Tomorrow is my 58th birthday. Also, it is Father`s Day. Happy Father`s Day to all the dads out there, and to all the mothers who fill both roles.
Billy and I will celebrate today both events by going out to eat to one of my favorite places to eat. Then I will most likely rest again afterwards.
I treated myself to a haircut yesterday. Surprising my stylist that I wanted my hair very short. A wash and go pixie to aid in the ease of self-care.
The next picture is of me at 30 years ago at the age of 28, and before I ever took sick. My how time has flown.
Wishing you all the best life has to offer! ✨Be the Light
Glad you are resting and seeing your cardiologist on Monday. Enjoy your favorite place to dine! It's also mine Happy early Birthday to you and Happy Father's day to Billy ❤️
Glad you are taking care of yourself, Debra. Enjoy your meal today and then rest - that’s an order! 💕
