It is comforting to know that there are people who take the moment to send a thought, prayer, or comforting word. It helps me not feel alone here. My family is over 1500 miles away. It is just my brother and I here and some winter snowbirds of dear friends from back north.
The Doctor has sat and explained to him in a manner for him to understand. He is in CHF and acute respiratory failure with pneumonia for the third time in 4 months. If he would stop fighting the help he is being given it may buy him more time.
He agreed to stay another week and give the antibiotics time and do his PT. I know him through and give him a few more days and the cycle of him threatening to sign himself out, will begin again.
Until then I am going to rest and stay in my pj`s tomorrow and allow myself time to breathe and heal before the next upheaval of catastrophe appears.
