I met the man who would become my second husband that spring and by that summer I had fallen in love with him and was waiting for the sentiment to be returned. I was 18 about to be 19, he was 26. It would be seven years before we became man and wife. My eldest daughter from my first marriage was 9, my youngest- his/our child- was 4 at our wedding.
