Life

Life and all of its wonders
We are born, nurtured and raised 
We strive to explore the vastness of creation
The sky, sea and earth contain the inhabitants of life
If we are fortunate enough, we find love
Within that love we ourselves may create life
What is our purpose, why are we here
When we leave and move on to another hemisphere
The cycle repeats over and over
The same as it has for millions of years
Laughter and joy a tender touch
Sorrow and death remind us of what is precious
It is not the materials we gather and put prices on
It is in what we share with our fellow man
Togetherness a bond a gift of heart and soul
Life it is love
It tethers us to what lays beyond
Life more than a breath
Life with love
Conquers death
