Harmony
I finished this picture this afternoon after working on it for two days. It started with watercolor paper and a piece of charcoal. I had nothing in mind to draw so I just let the charcoal flow over the paper and freely squiggled lines and swirls.
Then I stood up and backed away. Slowly I then began to turn the card table when a figure caught my eye. She began to appear. What was her story? Who was she? I paused to let myself feel what it is she wanted to become.
I used oil pastels and charcoals.
Harmony
I am peace
Balanced in my emotions
Gentle in my touch
Vibrant yet reflective
Softness contained firmly
Joy fills my heart
Sorrow spills from my eyes
I speak of hope
I sing of love
