Cruising
In March of 2022 I went on my first and only cruise. It was a ten-day cruise to the southern Carribean I do believe. A once in a lifetime event so far, yet I haven`t ruled out taking another someday. One not as long though, more like a 4-to-5-day excursion.
I`d also would love to visit another country. I have been to Canada many times back when I lived within 20 miles of its border. I`d love to see France or England and take in the sites.
The cruise was very enjoyable as I was with cherished friends. I have lost about 40 pounds since that cruise. I can remember the first few days of swollen feet but it didn`t hamper my good time.
My excursions where snorkeling in Princess Cay, Bahamas - a dolphin encounter - tubed down a river in the rainforest of Dominica and took a tour of one of the islands we docked at.
I treated myself to messages for some pampering. I also did acupuncture to see if the muscle spasms and leg swelling hoping I would find some relief. That was a weird experience and one I don`t believe I`d do again.
Spice was a local stray, and that little Lady jumped onto my lap and rode with me down the rapids. She let me pet her and gave me kisses. Much to my and everyone`s amazement.
I so enjoyed the freedom of just being in the moment. A trip I will never forget, but if I do there are pictures to nudge the memory.
I wish my camera could have captured the beauty of the colors of the sea.

It was a wonderful experience and one that I will cherish always. It was our first cruise. Our 2nd one was just as nice. It was also in the Caribbean. We just got back from our 3rd cruise on the Caribbean. It also was wonderful. It was a 6 day cruise. In the fall we are going to Grand Cayman Islands, Panama canal, Aruba and Costa Rica. I too would also love to go to Europe. I am thinking Finland and Hungary. That is where my ancestors are from.
Like you I have done the Carribean cruise. I would love to do the Alaska one. I love to travel and I am heading to France next month. So far I have been to China, Norway, Denmark, Greenland
