An Angel Awaits
I sat still in the breeze
hoping you would see
I came to say hello
and I know
that you miss me
Yesterday was my sister-in-law`s birthday. She passed 5 years ago. I miss her very, very much. I was twelve when my oldest brother brought her home to meet our parents. I stared at her for hours. She was so beautiful, inside and out.
Throughout the years I could always call her and tell her anything. She became my sister (in-law) and my friend. I won`t share a photo of her because I had not asked my brother and with yesterday being her birthday, holding space is enough.
On Friday while sitting with my morning brew and reflecting. I saw a sweet angel perched amongst the branches. To me it was her way of saying hello from the other side.
If not Linda herself than the universe speaking that life moves forward even after death. And as I type these words, I realize it may be Bills daughter, who passed and is waiting near-by. Especially given his health.
Wow, that revelation hit me quite hard. Not in a bad way, but one of reverence to the mysteries of the in-between.
Maybe the poem above can also have another verse:
Do not be afraid to take me by the hand
I will be beside you to guide you
to the promised land
Your suffering will cease
Your breath will be made free
Together you and I
In eternity
Maybe this represents both Linda and Allison.
It doesn`t matter if some say it`s just the mind seeking patterns through the leaves. That`s ok, because it wasn`t meant for them to understand.
The veil between here and there is transparent when our eyes and hearts are open to the spirit of love.
I love you both my angels and miss you dearly. Watch over him if this is his time. He`s had so many close calls. It comforts me to know you will see him home when it`s time.
Thank you for this gift of sight and understanding, dear God, I love you so!
✨Be the Light

She left her "spirit print" on you. That is what my mother would always tell me if I mentioned someone close to me had passed. ✌️❤️🙏
I believe in signs. Sending love, Debra!
